A 90 year old Holocaust survivor was killed on April 3, 2013 while crossing the street while out on his morning walk.  Witnesses reported that the man was utilizing a crosswalk when he was run over by a speeding truck which subsequently fled the scene.   The driver of the truck reportedly returned to the scene three hours later and was taken into police custody.
